Part of Morley College, BEC Learning for Life offers part time courses for adults to develop new skills, gain a qualification and improve employment prospects.
In October 2010 Morley merged with BEC, a small education provider with a well-deserved reputation for delivering excellent opportunities for learning to local residents in the Rotherhithe/Bermondsey area of North Southwark.
The BEC centre can offer you a range of courses at different levels in literacy and numeracy, ICT, ESOL, childcare and employment skills.
As a student at BEC, you will have regular tutorials to discuss your progress and when your course finishes, we will help you to plan your next step into further training or work.
BEC have close links with Southwark’s Adult Guidance Service, Southwark Works and Time and Talents. All students have access to FREE careers advice and support from a qualified advisor.
The BEC centre runs classes in community venues, for example at the Blue Anchor Library, the Lewington Community Centre, Coin Street neighbourhood centre and local primary schools.
