The Beormund is a charitable organisation and multi-use community centre providing a wide range of educational, training, social & cultural programmes and activities for the residents of Southwark, but particularly for people living in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.

The Beormund Centre is a safe, welcoming and accessible place with community facilities to meet the needs of all age groups, including Information Technology suites, training rooms, a dance studio, a fashion workshop, and a gym & fitness centre, as well as a reception & exhibition space, offices and a kitchen.

Activities include:

Old Tyme & Modern Sequence Dancing

Wednesdays 1.30PM- 3.00PM

Every Wednesday afternoon in the main hall.

 

Over 60's Keep Fit

Mondays - 11:00AM – 12:00PM 

Fun and friendly keep-fit classes. Everyone welcome, with classes allowing you to go at your own pace, beginners welcome.

 

Art Class for the over 60's

Mondays 1:30PM – 3:30PM  

An afternoon to be creative and artistic and meet new people. Beginners welcome.

 

Over 60s Weekly Function Social Club

1:00PM – 4:00PM

A lovely social afternoon

 

Bermondsey Pensioners Action Group

10.30am-11.30am

1st Wednesday each month.

 

The centre also offers aerobics and a carers club.
