Southwark CAB Service provides free, confidential and impartial information and advice to clients who live, work or study in the Borough of Southwark.

You can access the service in a number of ways:

Drop- In Service

The drop-in advice services at Peckham and Bermondsey CABx operate on a first come first served basis. They  will discuss your problem and decide with you the best course of action which may include a return appointment with an adviser. Their services are accessible and they have access to interpreters.

The Peckham Bureau Address Is:

The Bermondsey Bureau Address Is :

8 Market Place, Southwark Park Road, SE16 3UQ. Nearest stations are: Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays and Canada Water. Buses: 1,78

Telephone Advice

The CAB provide advice over the phone. Calls are charged at 5p per minute from a BT landline. Please phone the CAB Advice line on 0844 499 4134 during advertised service delivery times. Recorded information is available outside of the advertised times.

Evening Appointments

Tuesday evening appointments (5pm - 7pm) are available at Peckham CAB for people who are unable to visit the bureau during the day. To book an appointment, please telephone 0207 231 3379 (message line) and leave a message, including your name and contact details. Alternatively complete an email enquiry form and request an evening appointment in the details section.

- Email Advice

For clients who would prefer to email they are able to offer an email advice service. Please remember to complete all of the sections on the form to assist the advisor in giving you the best advice possible in relation to your enquiry. If your enquiry is urgent please attend the drop-in session or phone as this service is not meant for urgent enquiries. They aim to send you a reply within 5 working days after getting your request. - Outreaches and Projects

Southwark CABx Service aims to make their services as accessible as possible for local residents.

They also provide drop- in sessions on different issues such as:

- Council Tax

- Rent Arrears

- Advice for homeowners (Leaseholders) with a lease  from Southwark Council:
