Brixton Foodbank

Brixton Foodbank logo

To use the foodbank you must have a voucher, which can be issued by professionals such as doctors and social workers, a Citizen's Advice Bureau and Age UK Lambeth.

You can then take the voucher to the foodbank centre where it can be redeemed for three days emergency food. Volunteers meet clients over a cup of tea and biscuits and cakes. They are able to signpost people to agencies or have a Brixton Advice Centre worker on hand to help with any questions regarding benefits, housing or debt matters.

Even if you don't have a voucher, the Brixton foodbank would love you to drop in for refreshments and a chat.

Volunteers and donations of food are always welcome, please see the website to find out what the foodbank is low on at the moment.
