Camberwell Library offers:

-Fourteen adult study spaces

-Camberwell library book group runs on the second Tuesday of every month, 7pm to 8.30pm. Everyone welcome!

-Reading group run by library staff and supported by The Reader Organisation - Feel better with a book, every Tuesday 2pm to 4pm. No need to read anything in advance as everything is read aloud each week. Drop in, sit down and enjoy listening to a good story or poem. Free refreshments provided!

-Knitting club every Monday 2pm to 3pm. 

-Computer taster sessions available. Please book in the library

-Photocopying facilities

-Free internet access and word processing facilities. You may need to book in advance

-Free computer classes and learning in libraries

Membership
It's completely free to join any of our 12 public libraries. Anyone can join - you don't even have to live in Southwark!

If you are registered disabled, please let us know at the point of joining as you are entitled to a range of concessions.

Your membership card can be used in all of Southwark's libraries so there's no need to join each one separately. Once you've joined you'll be able to borrow up to 15 items at a time.

Disabled access:
There is wheelchair access to the adult library only but no dedicated parking. There is a Red Route parking bay which allows three hours disabled parking between 10am to 1pm. There are no disabled toilets.
