Christ Church, Southwark

Christ Church, Southwark logo

Christ Church is very much a church for the 21st Century but in a fast changing area of London we recognise that all of us need a place of sanctuary where we can rest in the changeless presence of God.

As Christians we have discovered that responding to the love of God through His Son Jesus is a  transforming experience and we want to share that with you here. In all that we do, we seek to proclaim the love of God and be a place of welcome, inclusivity, prayer and hope in which people can experience something of the 'holy'.

Worship at Christ Church

Parish Eucharist:

Sunday at 10:00am

A welcoming and friendly time together where we share bread and wine, pray and sing God's praise.

There is a children's area in church and a Sunday School on the last Sunday of the month. Refreshments and fellowship afterwards.

Holy Communion:

Wednesday at 1.10 pm

A short lunchtime service for those working and living in the area.

We celebrate Communion together and there is a brief talk. Feel welcome to bring and eat your lunch afterwards and we will provide hot and cold drinks and space in a busy world!

The Well:

Thursday at 1.10 pm

A quiet and refreshing service with silence, prayer and reflection. The service lasts for about half an hour with refreshments and further fellowship afterwards.
