City Hope Church is a great community of people living and working in London. We have a rich history of serving people and communities in this area over many generations.
Our vision is to be a growing, thriving, diverse church that brings the good news of Jesus to many people in our city and beyond.
City Hope is a growing church with plenty of room for more! We expect our lives, families and communities to thrive under God's blessing. We are excited to reflect the diversity of London in our congregation; whoever you are we would love you to join us. Our mission is to love God, love each other and make disciples. We aim to be a church of over one thousand people and to serve churches in both the UK and overseas.
Inspiring worship and relevant Bible teaching. Come and encounter the life changing power of Jesus. Meeting at 10:30am.
Our services start with a time of sung worship led by musicians and singers, with all ages in together before the children go to their groups.
Refreshments are served after the service: a chance to meet people over a cup of coffee, and also a time to be prayed for if you would like.
The service finishes at 12 noon.
Pleas note: Sunday services take place at the Harris Academy Bermondsey, 55 Southwark Park Road, London SE16 3TZ.

At City Hope we believe prayer is a vital part of the life of a Christian and the Church.
On the first Wednesday of each month we hold our 'Kingdom Come' meetings from 1pm until 2pm, and from 7.45pm until 9.30pm.
These are opportunities to worship and pray together, and to ask God to bless all that we do as a church. Other church meetings such as Connect Group and Connect Community meetings take a break in the first week of the month, to allow this important focus on prayer.

Every Friday in term time, City Hope opens its doors to friends, neighbours and ‘passers by’ in our local community.
The Fab Cafe:
Open from 11:30am each Friday in term time offering free refreshments and a friendly welcome.
Welcomes senior citizens from 1:30-3pm each Friday in term time. Free tea, coffee and homemade cakes are available, and entertainment in the form of an engaging talk or quiz each week.
Connect Communities and Groups
Small groups of people (typically between 6 and 12 people) meeting at various locations, often in homes, connect groups are a great way to get to know people. This is the place we can share life at a personal level, study the Bible together, pray for each other and encourage one another in our discipleship.
These groups are mid-sized communities where between 20 and 40 people join together to express community in their area, with a definite focus on reaching out to others and spreading the good news of Jesus.
