Copleston Centre Church is based at the Copleston Centre.

The Copleston Centre is a multi-purpose community centre offering a wide range of services for the whole community. The centre has been delivering therapeutic services to meet mental health needs of the local community for many years.

Church Services

Sunday:

10:00am: Family Communion (with Sunday School, except first Sunday of the month) First Sunday of the month: 10am Cafe Church


Wednesday:

9:30am - 10am: Communion Service

 

Copleston Centre

Projects at the centre include the Creative Therapies Project s a community based project offering services that have a positive impact on people's wellbeing. Services include:

- Art therapy, music therapy and counselling (Referral only)

- Cooking club (Referral only)

- Complementary therapies

- Art cafe and sound cafe

- Pilates and Zumba

- Shared reading group

The centre also offers groups led by member of the local community, such as Looking at Books who come together every Thursday morning to read, and a music appreciation class designed to help people, who already enjoy music, listen more closely and understand more about what they are hearing. We are also home to the Dulwich Art Group who organise life drawing and painting sessions which are open to people of all abilities. Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers

The centre is also the main office for the Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers. SDCAS is a Southwark- wide charity that operates three drop-in sessions in the borough, one of which is at the Copleston Centre on Tuesdays 12.30pm - 5.00pm.

There is  a Gardening project on Tuesday mornings.

Lunch is at 1pm and advice begins at 2pm.

Introductory level English classes 2pm-5pm

Movement/Dance Women’s Group 2pm-3pm

Men’s Well-Being Group (including Yoga and Relaxation) 3.30pm-4.30pm.

There is a crèche service 2pm-4pm.
