Collingwood Court logo

A purpose-built care home comprising of three blocks, each specialising in a different type of care.

Diana - specialises in care for the frail elderly and palliative care

Hazel - nursing dementia care

Rose - nursing dementia with some mental health issues cared for

Both long and short-term care is available including short breaks and respite. Each resident is assessed when they move in so their dietary preferences and needs are incorporated into the home’s menu. Fortified diets, shakes and smoothies are offered to those residents who need them.

Collingwood Court’s activity co-ordinator makes sure there is a variety of stimulating activities available based on resident requests and interests. Board games and audio books are popular, as are the regular visiting entertainers such as local theatre groups and musicians.

There are plenty of activities outside the home too. Collingwood Court has strong links with the local community and residents enjoy attending church coffee mornings and trips to Clapham Common or to the cinema located across the road from the home.

Entertainers often visit to perform and other visitors include a clothes shop offering a little retail therapy!
